It was a swordfighting game where the player simultaneously acted with the AI opponent by pressing one of the arrow keys to choose “high thrust,” “mid thrust,” or “low thrust.” The result would either injure you (Player 1, on the right), injure your opponent (William, in the dashing purple smock to the left), or have no result. After digging through the student’s code, I was able to deduce the results in TABLE 19.8.
